Today's 5-Round Puzzle
Every UTC day, Toon Tone generates one fixed five-round set from a date seed. Round one to round five are the same for everyone who plays today, which means the score on your result card is directly comparable to the score on your friend's. The puzzle resets at midnight UTC and a brand new five-round set unlocks for the whole world at the same instant.
Each round shows an original toon character clue and the part of the body that matters: a fur color, a panel light, a tentacle tint. Drag the hue, saturation, and brightness sliders to recreate the hidden target, hit Submit, and the round closes with a 0-100 score. Five rounds gives a daily total out of 500. When you finish, the result card produces a copyable score line and a 🟩🟨🟧🟥 emoji grid you can paste into X, Bluesky, Discord, or anywhere a daily puzzle thread lives. The link in the card brings new players straight to today's challenge.

FAQ
- Can I play yesterday's puzzle?
- No. Only today's puzzle is playable so every player who shares a score is talking about the same five rounds. The previous day's set is retired at midnight UTC and replaced by a new one.
- What time does the daily puzzle reset?
- Midnight UTC. The countdown to the next puzzle does not depend on your local timezone, so a player in Tokyo and a player in Los Angeles see the same puzzle at the same moment.
- Will my score persist if I close the tab?
- Your last ten daily scores are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are never uploaded. Clearing site data will erase that history.
