This page explains what data Toon Tone collects, why, and how long we keep it. It is written in plain English. Throughout this policy, the Operator refers to the independent party that operates Toon Tone; for contact and legal requests, use the emails in section 11.
1. Who we are
Toon Tone (toontone.win) is an independent browser-only color memory game using original toon-style characters. It is operated by the Operator. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any cartoon, animation, game, comic, or entertainment brand.

2. What we collect
2.1 Information you provide
Almost nothing. Toon Tone has no signup, no login, no email capture, and no user profiles. If you email us, we receive the address and message you send.
2.2 Automatically collected data
When you load any page, our hosting provider and analytics tools record a small amount of technical data:
- IP address (used for security, rate limiting, and approximate location)
- User-Agent string (browser and device family)
- Pages visited, referrer, and timestamps
- Approximate location (city / country derived from IP)
2.3 Game state (local storage only)
The following stays on your device in browser localStorageand is never sent to our servers:
- Recent daily scores and streak
- Difficulty preference
- Any UI preferences (for example cookie consent choice)
You can clear this any time via your browser's site data settings.
3. Third-party services
We use a short, fixed list of services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

Each service has its own privacy policy. We send only what is necessary for the listed purpose.
4. AI and data processing
Toon Tone does not call any AI APIs. All game logic (color comparison, scoring, daily seed) runs in your browser. We do not send your scores, inputs, or behavior to OpenAI, Anthropic, Replicate, fal.ai, or any similar service.

6. Cookies and tracking
On your first visit, a consent banner asks whether you allow analytics cookies. Until you accept, both Google Analytics and Umami are blocked: GA4 runs in Consent Mode v2 with analytics_storage denied, and the Umami script is not loaded at all. If you accept, GA4 sets its standard analytics cookies and Umami begins counting page views; if you reject, no analytics cookies are set.
Cloudflare may still set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm) to distinguish humans from bots. This cookie is considered “strictly necessary” under GDPR and does not require consent.
You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, which re-opens the banner. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings without breaking the game.
7. Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with comparable privacy law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA / CPRA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Restrict or object to processing
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Email privacy@toontone.win. We respond within 30 days. California residents: we do not sell your personal information.
8. Children's privacy
Toon Tone is a general-audience game intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email privacy@toontone.win and we will delete it.
9. International data transfers
Cloudflare, Google, and our analytics infrastructure operate globally. Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. These providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page (and in a site banner for at least 14 days) before taking effect. The Last updated date above always reflects the current version.
