By using Toon Tone you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please close the site. Throughout these terms, the Operator refers to the independent party that operates Toon Tone; for contact and legal requests, use the emails in section 12.

1. The service

Toon Tone is a free browser-based color memory game using original toon-style characters. There is no account, no login, and no purchase. The service is provided as-is and may change as we test mechanics, pages, and analytics. We are not affiliated with any cartoon, anime, game, comic, or entertainment brand.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Toon Tone. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. No account

We do not provide user accounts. Your progress is stored locally in your browser. Clearing site data ends your local progress; we cannot recover it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use trademarked or copyrighted character names (for example “Mickey”, “Pikachu”, “Mario”) in any user-facing field
Submit obscene, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit content in any input field
Reverse-engineer, scrape, automate, or otherwise overload the service
Use bots or scripts to inflate scores, engagement, or any future leaderboard
Embed, mirror, or rehost Toon Tone on another domain so as to imply ownership or affiliation
Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Impersonate Toon Tone, the Operator, or any third party

5.2 Genre inspiration

“Toon-style” is a visual genre, not a brand. Toon Tone draws on the broad aesthetic of cartoon illustration but does not reproduce any specific copyrighted character. Any resemblance to existing characters is coincidental.

5.3 Third-party intellectual property

We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on Toon Tone infringes your rights, send a takedown notice to dmca@toontone.win with:

Your contact information and a physical or electronic signature
Identification of the work you claim is infringed
The URL of the allegedly infringing material on our site
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized and that the notice is accurate

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of color scoring (Delta-E values are approximations, not scientific measurements), or continuous availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of Toon Tone. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer where such limits are not permitted by applicable law (for example mandatory EU consumer protections).

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including suspected abuse or breach of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time by closing your browser.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Operator's country of residence, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply where required by law.

10. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding Toon Tone.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page (and in a site banner for at least 14 days) before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
